Michael has also appeared on behalf of clients in federal courts in Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Texas, and the federal courts of appeals for the Second, Third and Fifth Circuits.

Michael Davies

Michael Davies has practiced law with global law firms based in New York for over thirty years.  His practice is focused on U.S. commercial litigation, international litigation and arbitration, and aviation law and dispute resolution.  Michael is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator, and has been appointed to the mediation and arbitration rosters established by various New York state and federal courts to preside over alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

As a commercial litigator, Michael has represented clients in complex commercial cases from inception through trial and appeal in New York state courts and federal courts throughout the U.S.

In the field of international litigation and arbitration, Michael has represented clients in U.S. courts and before international arbitral tribunals.  In addition to private clients, Michael has also litigated on behalf of and against foreign governments and international organizations.

Michael is bilingual in English and French and works often with French-speaking clients and other European and Asian clients in the U.S. and abroad.

Michael is also experienced in aviation law and dispute resolution, representing aircraft owners, lessors, operators and other industry professionals in a range of commercial and insurance matters and disputes.
